Garlic Bread Packo's Hot Dogs

Crispy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor—these Grilled Cheese Hot Dogs are what happens when your favorite comfort foods collide in the best possible way.

4 hot dog buns
2 Tbsp. butter, softened
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
4 Tony Packo’s Hot Dogs, split lengthwise (be careful not to cut all the way through)
3 cups shredded cheddar
4 scallions, sliced

Flatten buns. Mix butter, garlic powder, and onion powder, then spread on the outside of the buns.

Cook hot dogs in a skillet over medium heat until lightly charred.

Place a bun butter-side down in the skillet. Add cheese, a hot dog, more cheese, and scallions.

Cover and cook until the cheese melts, then fold the bun closed. Repeat for the remaining buns.
